So many different meanings surround food. It’s different emotions, different seasons, different meanings, and so forth and it’s amazingly never ending

I’ve worked in different kitchens for many years and even though it’s repetitive it’s something that physically puts me in a therapeutic trance. The best part is taking one ingredient and mixing it with multiple ingredients to make an amazing dish.

I may have worked in multiple kitchens but working with new ingredients is the best part. It’s fascinating and it pulls me down the research rabbit hole until I’ve pretty much have the overall picture and multiple recipes ready.

Have you ever screenshotted or found a recipe that you keep to either one day test it or store it? This fluff for sure does. I have more pictures of recipes than my family members at gatherings! Hah

There are so many dishes out there I want to smell, taste, and savor! Like I said it’s my passion. I wish smell-o-vision or tasty-vision exists.

The purpose of this post is I currently work for an import/export company of fine foods. We all come from different backgrounds yet we come together to sell food, offer options that help spice up a customer here or there. We do the research to cut the time so it’s easier for the customer to buy what they need. In my research different countries eat the same ingredients and similar dishes. For instance – Rice and beans

In Latin culture, rice and beans are the main staple of half a plate next to a veggie and protein.

Vs.

In Asian cultures, rice can be steamed together with beans to create a different taste and textured side that accompanies a veggie and protein

Food is what brings us all together. Teach me your cultures I would love to experience everything in the eyes of an og native to that culture or country
